This session will focus on the challenges of managing assets and configuration information in a Storage Area Network (SAN). A software solution that identifies the components and paths from servers to storage arrays via SAN switches will be discussed, including how this information can be exported to a CMDB. Change and configuration records for SAN environments will also be presented as well as new provisioning solutions for cloud based environments which require a service level based approach.
